Museums

Museums are buildings where cool things are kept safe for everyone to see. They have art, old bones, machines, and much more. People go to museums to learn and have fun. Most cities in the world have at least one museum.

Different Kinds

Art museums show paintings, sculptures, and other artworks. Science museums let you touch and try hands-on experiments. Natural history museums have dinosaur bones and animals. There are even museums just for toys or chocolate.

How They Work

People called curators pick what goes in a museum. They make sure each item is displayed nicely. Guards and special glass cases keep things safe. Some museums let visitors in for free, while others charge a small fee.
