Pop Art

Pop Art is an art style that started in the 1950s. It uses pictures from comic books, ads, and stores. The colors are bright and bold. Pop artists wanted art to be fun and easy for everyone to enjoy.

How It Began

Pop Art started in England and then grew big in the United States. Artists were tired of serious art. They looked at TV, movies, and ads for ideas. They thought regular things could be art too.
