Angola

Angola is a large country on the west coast of southern Africa. It has tropical rainforests, wide savannas, and even a desert. Angola is rich in oil and diamonds and has a unique mix of African and Portuguese culture.

Land and People

About 35 million people live in Angola. The capital is Luanda. Angola has a long Atlantic coast, the Namib Desert in the south, and rainforests in the north. The Okavango River begins in Angola before flowing to Botswana.
