Bangladesh is a country in South Asia almost completely surrounded by India. It is one of the most crowded countries in the world. Bangladesh has hundreds of rivers and much of the land floods during the rainy monsoon season.

About 170 million people live in Bangladesh. The capital is Dhaka. The country is mostly flat and low-lying with the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers flowing through. The Sundarbans is the largest mangrove forest in the world.
