Belgium is a small country in Western Europe. It sits between France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Belgium is world famous for its chocolate, waffles, and french fries. It is also the home of the European Union headquarters.

About 12 million people live in Belgium. The capital is Brussels. Belgium is mostly flat with rolling hills in the south. The country has three official languages: Dutch, French, and German.
