Honduras is a country in Central America. It has a long Caribbean coastline and a short Pacific one. Honduras has thick jungles, old Mayan ruins, and the second largest coral reef in the world.

About 10 million people live in Honduras. The capital is Tegucigalpa. Mountains cover most of the country. The Bay Islands off the coast have amazing coral reefs for snorkeling and diving.
