New Jersey
New Jersey is a state in the northeastern part of the United States. It is one of the smallest states but has a lot of people. New Jersey sits between New York and Pennsylvania. It is famous for its long sandy beaches called the Jersey Shore.
Geography
New Jersey has mountains in the north and flat land in the south. The Atlantic Ocean forms its eastern border. Long beaches stretch along the coast. Many people visit these beaches in the summer to swim and play. The state also has thick forests called the Pine Barrens.
Things to Do
New Jersey has many fun places to visit. Atlantic City is known for its long boardwalk by the ocean. Six Flags Great Adventure is one of the biggest theme parks in the country. The state is also called the Garden State because of its many farms. New Jersey grows lots of blueberries and tomatoes.
