Rwanda is a small country in East Africa. It is called the Land of a Thousand Hills because of its rolling green landscape. Rwanda is one of the cleanest countries in Africa and is home to rare mountain gorillas.

About 14 million people live in Rwanda. The capital is Kigali. The country is covered in green hills, lakes, and forests. Volcanoes National Park in the north is where mountain gorillas live.
