Sweden is a long country in northern Europe. It is part of Scandinavia. Sweden is known for its forests, lakes, and the magical Northern Lights. In summer, the sun barely sets, and in winter, it barely rises.

Land and People

About 10 million people live in Sweden. The capital is Stockholm, a city built on 14 islands. Sweden has thick pine forests, thousands of lakes, and a long coastline. Moose and reindeer roam the northern wilderness.
