Togo

Togo is a small, narrow country in West Africa between Ghana and Benin. It stretches from the Gulf of Guinea up to the Sahel. Togo has palm-lined beaches, rolling hills, and is known for its voodoo traditions.

About 8.5 million people live in Togo. The capital is Lome, right on the coast. Togo is one of the smallest countries in Africa but has hills, savannas, and sandy beaches. The country is only about 35 miles wide at its narrowest.
