Fats
Fats
Fats are part of many foods we eat. Some people think fats are bad, but your body really needs them. Fats give you energy and help your body stay warm. They even help your brain work well.
Healthy Fats
Healthy fats come from foods like avocados, nuts, and seeds. Fish like salmon has good fats. Olive oil is another healthy fat. These fats help your heart and brain. Eating some every day keeps you strong.
Fats to Limit
Not all fats are the same. Fried foods and lots of butter have fats that can hurt your heart if you eat too much. Sweet snacks and fast food often have these fats. It is okay to enjoy them sometimes. Just try to eat more healthy fats most days.
Fun Facts
