Puberty

Puberty is a normal part of growing up. It is when your body starts to change and develop. These changes happen to everyone, but they can start at different ages.

What Happens During Puberty

During puberty, you grow taller and your body shape changes. You may notice new hair growing on your body. Your skin might get oily, and you might start to sweat more.

Your voice may change, and you might have new feelings and emotions. All of these changes are completely normal.

Everyone Is Different

Some kids start puberty as early as age eight. Others do not start until age thirteen or even later. There is no right or wrong time to begin.

If you feel confused about the changes in your body, talk to a parent, doctor, or school counselor. They can answer your questions and help you feel better.
