Self-Care

Self-care means looking after yourself. It includes things like brushing your teeth, eating healthy food, and sleeping well. It also means caring for your feelings. When you take good care of yourself, you feel your best.

Taking Care of Your Body

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Drink water when you are thirsty. Wash your hands before meals. Get at least nine hours of sleep each night. Run and play to keep your body strong.

Taking Care of Your Mind

Your feelings matter too. Talk to someone when you feel sad or scared. Take breaks when you feel tired. Spend time doing things you love. Being alone for a little while is okay. Remember that it is fine to ask for help.
