Julius Caesar lived a long time ago in ancient Rome. He was born in the year 100 BC. He grew up to be a brave soldier, a smart leader, and a great speaker. People in Rome knew his name very well. He won many battles and made Rome bigger and stronger. His story is one of the most famous in all of history.
Early Life
Julius Caesar was born into a noble family in Rome. His family was not very rich, but they had a proud name. As a boy, he learned how to read, write, and speak in public. He also learned how to ride horses and use a sword. When he grew up, he joined the Roman army. He was smart and brave, and he quickly became a leader.
Leader of Rome
Caesar led the Roman army in many battles. He fought in a land called Gaul, which is now France. He won big wars and brought lots of treasure back to Rome. The people of Rome loved him. He became the top ruler of Rome. But some people were worried he had too much power. On March 15 in the year 44 BC, a group of men attacked him, and he died. His name is still famous today.
