Angelfish

Angelfish are pretty fish that many people love to keep in aquariums. They have tall, flat bodies and long fins. There are two main types of angelfish. Freshwater angelfish live in rivers, and marine angelfish live in the ocean near coral reefs.

Freshwater Angelfish

Freshwater angelfish come from the Amazon River in South America. They have triangle-shaped bodies with long, flowing fins. In the wild, they live among plants in slow-moving water. These fish are popular pets because they are pretty and calm. They can grow up to six inches tall.

Marine Angelfish

Marine angelfish live in warm oceans around the world. They are often very colorful with bright blues, yellows, and oranges. These fish live near coral reefs where they find food and shelter. They eat sponges, small animals, and plants. Some marine angelfish can grow as big as a dinner plate.
