Baboons
Baboons are one of the largest kinds of monkeys in the world. They live in Africa and a small part of Arabia. Baboons have long faces that look a little like a dog's face. They live in large groups called troops.
Troop Life
A baboon troop can have more than 100 members. They travel, eat, and sleep together. Older baboons help take care of the younger ones. Staying in a group helps keep them safe from lions and leopards.
What They Eat
Baboons eat many different foods. They like fruits, seeds, grass, and bugs. Sometimes they even hunt small animals. They are good at finding food in many places, from forests to dry grasslands.
