Coyotes
Coyotes are wild members of the dog family. They are very smart and can live in many different places. Coyotes are found across North America, from forests to cities. They are known for their howling calls at night.
Clever Survivors
Coyotes are very adaptable animals. They eat almost anything, including rabbits, fruit, and insects. They have learned to live near people and even in big cities. Coyotes can run up to 40 miles per hour to catch prey or escape danger.
Coyote Families
Coyotes often live in pairs or small family groups. Both parents help raise the pups. A mother coyote usually has about six pups at a time. The pups start learning to hunt when they are about eight weeks old.
