Iguanas
Iguanas
Iguanas are lizards that come in many colors, like green, brown, and blue. They have a row of spikes going down their backs. Most iguanas live in warm places like rainforests and deserts. They are good climbers and swimmers.
Plant Eaters
Most iguanas eat plants, fruits, and flowers. This makes them herbivores. They love to munch on leaves high up in trees. Young iguanas sometimes eat bugs, too.
Staying Safe
Iguanas have sharp claws and strong tails. If a hungry animal grabs their tail, it can break off and grow back. They can also drop from trees into water to escape. Iguanas are great swimmers and can hold their breath for a long time.
Fun Facts
