Alex Morgan is an American professional soccer player. She was born in San Dimas, California, in 1989. She is one of the most famous female soccer players in the world. She helped the U.S. Women's National Team win two FIFA World Cup titles.
Early Life
Morgan started playing soccer when she was seven years old. She was a multi-sport athlete in high school. She played soccer at the University of California, Berkeley. She was the youngest player on the U.S. Women's National Team when she joined at age 20.
Soccer Career
Morgan helped the U.S. team win the 2015 and 2019 FIFA World Cups. She also won an Olympic gold medal in 2012. She scored over 120 goals for the national team. She has been a leader in the fight for equal pay for women in soccer.
