Queen Elizabeth I

Queen Elizabeth I was one of England's greatest monarchs. She was born in Greenwich, England, in 1533. She ruled England for 45 years. Her reign is called the Elizabethan Era, a time of great art, exploration, and power.

Early Life

Elizabeth was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Her mother was executed when Elizabeth was just two years old. She was a brilliant student who spoke six languages. She survived many dangers before becoming queen at age 25.

Big Achievements
