Sir Donald Bradman was an Australian cricketer. He was born in Cootamundra, New South Wales, in 1908. He is widely considered the greatest batsman in cricket history. His batting average of 99.94 is far above any other player.
Early Life
Bradman grew up in rural Australia. He practiced batting by hitting a golf ball against a water tank with a cricket stump. This unusual practice developed his incredible hand-eye coordination. He made his debut for Australia at age 20.
