Tchaikovsky

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky was a Russian composer. He was born in Votkinsk, Russia, in 1840. He wrote the music for famous ballets like Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. His music is full of beautiful melodies and powerful emotions.

Early Life

Tchaikovsky started playing piano at age five. His parents wanted him to be a lawyer, so he worked in a government office first. He could not ignore his love of music. He quit his job and studied at the St. Petersburg Conservatory.

Big Achievements
