Horse Breeds
Horses have been working alongside humans for over 5,000 years. There are more than 300 horse breeds in the world. Some are bred for speed, some for strength, and some for gentle companionship. Horses are intelligent, social animals that form strong bonds with people.
Types of Horse Breeds
Horse breeds are grouped into three main types. Hot-blooded breeds like Arabians and Thoroughbreds are fast and spirited. Cold-blooded breeds like Clydesdales are big, strong, and calm. Warm-blooded breeds are a mix of both and are great for riding and sport.
