Baseball

Baseball is a fun sport played with a bat, a ball, and a glove. Two teams take turns batting and playing in the field. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins. Baseball is very popular in the United States, Japan, and many other countries.

How the Game Works

A baseball field has four bases shaped like a diamond. A pitcher throws the ball, and a batter tries to hit it with a bat. If the batter hits the ball, they run to first base. A player scores a run by touching all four bases and reaching home plate. Each game has nine innings, and each team gets to bat once per inning.

Players and Gear

Each team has nine players on the field. There is a pitcher, a catcher, four infielders, and three outfielders. Players wear gloves to catch the ball. Batters wear helmets to keep their heads safe. The ball is small, white, and made of leather with red stitches.
