Kinds of BMX
There are two main kinds of BMX. BMX racing is when riders race on a dirt track with jumps and turns. BMX freestyle is when riders do tricks in the air or on ramps. Freestyle can be done on the street, in parks, or on dirt jumps. Both kinds need skill and bravery.
BMX Bikes
BMX bikes are small and very strong. They have 20-inch wheels and only one gear. The frames are made to handle hard landings. Riders wear helmets and pads to stay safe. A good BMX bike can last for many jumps and tricks.
