Dodgeball

Dodgeball is a high-energy game played by two teams. Players throw soft balls at each other and try not to get hit. If a ball hits you, you are out. The last team with players still in the game wins.

How to Play

Two teams stand on opposite sides of a gym or field. Soft rubber balls are placed in the middle. When the game starts, everyone rushes to grab a ball. Players throw balls at the other team and dodge the ones thrown at them.

If you catch a ball that someone threw at you, the thrower is out and one of your teammates gets to come back in. The game keeps going until one team has no players left.

Staying Safe

Safety is very important in dodgeball. Most games use soft foam balls so no one gets hurt. Players are usually not allowed to throw at someone's head. Good sportsmanship means playing fair and being kind.

Dodgeball is played in gym classes, at camps, and even in adult leagues. It is a great way to practice throwing, catching, and quick movements.
