Hide and Seek

Hide and Seek is one of the most popular games in the world. One player closes their eyes and counts while everyone else hides. Then the seeker tries to find all the hidden players.

How to Play

One person is chosen to be the seeker. The seeker covers their eyes and counts to a set number, like 20 or 50. While the seeker counts, everyone else runs to find a hiding spot.

When the seeker finishes counting, they yell "Ready or not, here I come!" Then they search for all the hidden players. The last person found often gets to be the seeker in the next round.

Versions of the Game

There are many fun versions of Hide and Seek. In Sardines, one person hides and everyone else seeks. When you find the hider, you squeeze in with them. The last person to find the group loses.

In Hide and Seek Tag, the seeker has to tag the hiders instead of just spotting them. Kids all over the world play their own special versions of this classic game.
