The Masters is one of the biggest golf tournaments in the world. It is held every April at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia. Only the best golfers are invited to play. The winner gets a famous green jacket. Many golfers dream of winning the Masters one day.
The Green Jacket
The green jacket is the most famous prize in golf. It is given to the winner of the Masters each year. The winner from last year helps the new winner put it on. Past winners also get to wear their jackets when they come back. The jacket must stay at the club after the first year.
The Golf Course
Augusta National is a beautiful golf course. It has 18 holes and many flowers and trees. Each hole is named after a plant. The course is famous for a section called Amen Corner. Golfers must be very skilled to play well there. The grass is cut perfectly every day.
