City buses stop at bus stops along a route. School buses are bright yellow so drivers can see them easily. Coach buses take people on long trips between cities. Double-decker buses, like London's famous red ones, have two levels of seats. Some buses are extra long with a bendy middle section.

Many cities are switching to electric buses to help the environment. Electric buses are quieter and don't produce exhaust fumes. Some cities use buses that run on natural gas or hydrogen. In some places, special bus lanes help buses avoid traffic and stay on schedule.
