Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated TV show that aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008. It is set in a world where people can bend the four elements: water, earth, fire, and air. Aang is the Avatar, the only person who can bend all four elements. He must master them all to stop the Fire Nation from conquering the world.

Aang is a fun-loving twelve-year-old monk who was frozen in ice for 100 years. Katara is a waterbender who finds and frees Aang. Sokka is Katara's brother who fights with boomerangs and plans. Toph is a blind earthbender who is one of the strongest fighters in the world.
An Epic Journey
The show follows Aang as he travels the world learning to bend each element. Prince Zuko of the Fire Nation chases him at first but later becomes an ally. The show deals with themes of war, friendship, redemption, and balance. Many people consider it one of the greatest animated shows ever made.
