Dora the Explorer

Dora the Explorer is an animated TV show that first aired in 2000 on Nickelodeon. It follows a seven-year-old Latina girl named Dora and her monkey friend Boots. Together they go on adventures while teaching kids basic Spanish words. The show is interactive and encourages kids to speak and solve problems.

Dora always carries her purple Backpack and uses Map to find her way. Boots is her best friend, a friendly monkey who wears red boots. Swiper is a sneaky fox who tries to swipe things, but Dora stops him by saying Swiper no swiping.

Learning Spanish
