Fireman Sam

Fireman Sam is a TV show from Wales, a country in the United Kingdom. It is about a firefighter named Sam. He works in a small town called Pontypandy. Sam is known as the hero next door. The show first aired in 1987 and is still made today.

The first Fireman Sam episodes used stop-motion animation with clay models. This took a very long time to make. In 2008, the show changed to computer animation. The stories became bigger with more action. Fireman Sam has fans all over the world now.
