Little Bear is a cartoon about a curious bear cub who lives in the forest. He spends his days with his family and animal friends. The show is based on books by Else Holmelund Minarik. It first came on TV in 1995 and is loved for being calm and kind.
Little Bear and Friends
Little Bear has many good friends in the forest. There is Duck, Cat, Hen, Owl, and his friend Emily who is a human girl. They play games, use their imagination, and help each other. Little Bear also loves his Mother Bear and Father Bear. The family is warm and happy.

Each episode of Little Bear tells a small story. Maybe Little Bear makes a birthday cake or visits the moon in a space helmet made from a pot. Sometimes the friends go on a picnic or tell stories by the fire. The show has soft music and gentle voices. It feels a bit like a bedtime story.
