Naruto is an anime series based on the manga by Masashi Kishimoto. It first aired in Japan in 2002. The show follows Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who is shunned by his village because a dangerous fox spirit is sealed inside him. Despite this, Naruto never gives up on his dream of becoming Hokage, the leader of his village.
Naruto's World
Naruto lives in the Hidden Leaf Village, a ninja village. He is on Team 7 with Sasuke, a talented but troubled ninja, and Sakura, a smart and determined kunoichi. Their teacher Kakashi is a legendary ninja who reads books during battles. Naruto must train hard to earn respect.
Never Give Up
Naruto's message is about never giving up no matter how hard things get. Naruto faces powerful enemies and personal challenges but keeps pushing forward. The sequel series Naruto Shippuden follows an older Naruto on even bigger adventures. The franchise continues with Boruto, following Naruto's son.
