Pingu
Pingu is a TV show about a little penguin and his family. It was made in Switzerland using clay models. The characters do not speak real words. Instead, they talk in funny penguin sounds. Kids all over the world love to watch Pingu's silly adventures.
How the Show Is Made
Pingu is made with stop-motion animation. Artists shape the characters out of clay. They move the clay figures a tiny bit and take a picture each time. When the pictures play in order, it looks like the penguins are moving. This takes a very long time to do.
Pingu's Family and Friends
Pingu lives with his mom, dad, and little sister Pinga. His best friend is a seal named Robby. Together they play games and have fun in the snow. Sometimes Pingu gets into trouble with his pranks. But he always learns to be kind in the end.
