Popeye Show

Popeye is a cartoon character created by Elzie Crisler Segar in 1929. He first appeared in a comic strip and later became a cartoon star. Popeye is a tough sailor with big forearms who gets incredible strength from eating spinach. He has appeared in cartoons for nearly a century and is one of the most recognizable animated characters in the world.

Popeye is a sailor who speaks in a funny mumbling way. His girlfriend Olive Oyl is tall and thin. Bluto, also called Brutus, is the big bully who always tries to steal Olive. Wimpy is Popeye's friend who loves hamburgers. Swee'Pea is a baby that Popeye takes care of.

Whenever Popeye is in trouble, he eats a can of spinach and becomes incredibly strong. This running gag actually caused spinach sales to increase across America.
