Sofia is a regular girl who lives with her mom. One day her mom marries a king. This makes Sofia a princess overnight. She must learn royal manners and new lessons. She also wears a magical amulet that lets her talk to animals.

Sofia lives in the royal castle with her new family. She has a stepbrother named James and stepsister named Amber. At first, Amber is not nice to her. But Sofia is kind and patient. Soon they become real sisters.

The Magic Amulet

Sofia wears a special pink necklace called the Amulet of Avalor. It gives her magic powers when she does good deeds. She can talk to animals like her rabbit Clover. Sometimes famous Disney princesses appear to help her. The amulet teaches her to be a good person.
