SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob SquarePants is an animated TV show that first aired on Nickelodeon in 1999. It was created by marine biologist Stephen Hillenburg. The show takes place in the underwater city of Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob is a happy yellow sea sponge who works as a fry cook and has many silly adventures with his friends.

SpongeBob lives in a pineapple under the sea with his pet snail Gary. His best friend Patrick Star is a starfish who is not very bright. Squidward is SpongeBob's grumpy neighbor. Sandy Cheeks is a squirrel from Texas who lives in an underwater dome. Mr. Krabs runs the Krusty Krab restaurant.
