Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an animated TV series that aired from 2008 to 2020. It is set between the Star Wars prequel movies and follows the Clone Wars conflict. The show features Jedi knights Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi leading clone troopers into battle. It also introduces Ahsoka Tano, Anakin's young Padawan who became one of the most popular Star Wars characters ever.
Jedi and Clones
Anakin Skywalker is a powerful but reckless Jedi. Obi-Wan Kenobi is his wise master. Ahsoka Tano starts as a young apprentice but grows into a skilled warrior. Captain Rex and the clone troopers are loyal soldiers who each develop their own personalities despite being clones.
Expanding the Galaxy
The Clone Wars greatly expanded the Star Wars universe. It introduced new planets, characters, and storylines. The show explored the dark side of war and showed how Anakin slowly moved toward becoming Darth Vader. It ran for seven seasons and is considered essential Star Wars viewing.
