Studio Ghibli

Studio Ghibli is a Japanese animation studio founded in 1985 by directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, along with producer Toshio Suzuki. The studio has created some of the most beloved animated films in the world. Their movies are known for beautiful hand-drawn animation, strong characters, and stories that celebrate nature and imagination.

Studio Ghibli has made many incredible films. My Neighbor Totoro is about two girls who meet a forest spirit. Spirited Away won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Princess Mononoke is an epic about nature and humans. Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service are also fan favorites.

Hayao Miyazaki

Hayao Miyazaki is the co-founder and most famous director at Studio Ghibli. He is often compared to Walt Disney for his impact on animation. His films are filled with flying scenes, strong female characters, and environmental messages. Miyazaki has come out of retirement multiple times because he loves making films.
